Comfy stay with a friendly vibe

Had a lovely 1 night stay with my partner. The Crows Nest room was super cosy and just right for us. The staff were so kind, even when they were busy for NYE. Enjoyed some delish food in the pub too. Only wished there were more parking spots, but otherwise, all good!

Came in Sutton on Trent to relax and have fun, this wheelchair accessible hotel was excellent place for doing it. The location was magnificent and unbeatable, for example, All Saints' Church was within easy walking distance of the venue...

The family room was spacious, accommodating two doubles and two singles. The staff were friendly. The room itself showed signs of wear, with some maintenance issues needing attention, and the loud music from the kitchen disturbed our sleep. Breakfast was underwhelming, and while the evening meals were enjoyable, the flies around were quite a nuisance.

Converted stables, attractive playground area, lively pub atmosphere

The rooms felt dated, with some areas in need of a refresh!!! A major letdown was running out of several lager options, leaving me disappointed with the drink selection available!!!

I stayed in a cozy family room with super comfy beds and a lovely balcony perfect for evening drinks. There’s a nice garden area to relax in and live music on weekends, which really adds to the vibe. The only downside was some guests being a bit loud at night, but it didn’t ruin my overall experience. 😊

I had a fantastic stay at The Lord in Sutton on Trent! The large double room offered very nice comfort, ideal after a day of exploring the local countryside. The staff's friendliness enhanced the experience, and the homemade dishes exceeded my expectations. A touch of noise from the bar area slightly disrupted the peace, but overall, a great adventure base!

The steak night was a real treat!

Had a decent overnight stay at this charming pub. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, but the room was in need of some TLC and the breakfast service felt rushed. The food quality was quite good, making it a place I'd consider revisiting.

The room was spacious with a super-king bed that was comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep. The staff were attentive. The food was good, particularly the homemade dishes which surprised us with their quality and flavor.

The bathroom could use some updates.

I loved the converted stables that totally surprised me with their cozy vibes! The huge super-king bed was a dream to sink into after a long day. Plus, the fresh glass bottled water in the room was a good touch, so refreshing 🥰

The quirky converted stable block was such a unique touch, and I loved the ample coffee-making supplies in my room. I enjoyed unwinding in the lovely garden area and catching some live music in the evening. The one drawback was that my room let in a bit too much sunlight early in the morning, so maybe bring an eye mask just in case! 😊
